Anchored by premier jazz virtuosos, the ensemble features internationally acclaimed pianist, composer, and arranger Alex Nakhimovsky, whose tremendous pedigree spans conservatory training, international festival stages, and a celebrated career in jazz and Latin jazz.
Joining him on guitar is Christopher Morrison—hailed by the late Mike Longo as "one of the outstanding guitarists in the world today". A former duo partner of guitar legend Joe Diorio who cut his teeth in New Haven’s classic jazz organ scene, Morrison brings decades of elite performance at venues like Birdland and the Jazz Standard, as well as an award-winning 30-year career as a collegiate jazz professor.
Alongside stellar rhythm section masters Morris Trent on bass and Dan Klug on drums (plus a rotating cast of top-tier guest artists), the quartet delivers an electrifying, sophisticated performance that stands apart from anything else on the circuit.
